Pein Kwarm is a Shan music platform that provides song lyrics, guitar chords, chord diagrams, artist and studio information, articles, and a guitar tuner. The Service is operated in connection with peinkwarm.com.

2. Information we collect

We aim to collect only what is needed to run and improve the Service.

• Usage data: pages and screens you visit, features you use, approximate device and browser information, and general performance data. On the website, this may include anonymized analytics via Vercel Analytics.
• Preferences stored on your device: language, theme, and similar settings saved in browser local storage (website) or on-device storage (app).
• Favorites (app): song IDs you save as favorites are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers for account syncing.
• Microphone audio (tuner only): when you use the guitar tuner and grant permission, audio is processed on your device to detect pitch. We do not record, store, or upload microphone audio.
• Admin accounts: if you are an authorized administrator, we process login credentials (such as username and password) and session information needed to access the admin portal. Optional email may be collected during admin registration.
• Content you submit as an admin: song, artist, composer, studio, chord, and article data you enter through the admin tools.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Remember your language, theme, and favorite songs on your device
• Enable the guitar tuner when you choose to use it
• Secure and operate the admin portal for authorized users
• Understand aggregate usage patterns and fix technical issues

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host and operate the Service (for example, hosting, API, and analytics providers), only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Service and its users.

5. Data storage and retention

Device preferences and favorites remain on your device until you clear app data, clear browser storage, or uninstall the app. Admin credentials and content managed through the admin portal are stored on our servers for as long as needed to operate the Service. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s practices.

6. Permissions

The mobile app may request microphone access solely for the guitar tuner. You can deny or later revoke this permission in your device settings. Denying microphone access does not prevent you from using other parts of the Service.

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. International users

The Service may be accessed from different countries. By using the Service, you understand that information may be processed in locations where our hosting and service providers operate.

9. Your choices

You can clear local preferences and favorites from your browser or device storage, revoke microphone permission at any time, and stop using the Service. Administrators may request account-related changes by contacting us.
